Stuttgart Airport is the first airport in Europe to use exoskeletons for baggage handling. The intelligent Cray X power suit is intended to relieve the physical strain on baggage handling staff and ensure long-term employee health. It is worn like a backpack and can be individually adjusted to almost any body size with its adjustable straps. At work, it effortlessly adapts to employees’ movements and enhances them without intruding on their work environment.

We at Stuttgart Airport continuously strive to find innovations that optimize our operations and simultaneously improvethe working environment of our employees. The Cray is the prime example of such a win-win situation.
